Wok The Rock was born in Madiun in 1975. Studied visual communication design at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Indonesian Institute of the Arts in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Founder of Ruang MES 56; alternative art space and with Wimo Ambala Bayang produces Video Battle (a video art compilation). Works as graphic designer to keep being alive and kicking and is currently running Yes No Wave Music, a netlabel. His Artworks use various media, from photography, video, graphic design, music production, to the internet.
